- It might be that time has passed mpeg-1 by. Things are moving very rapidly
- towards DVD and that would mean it would be a bit foolish to put too many
- resources into any kind of CD development at this time. For instance, buying a
- 6times CD-reader would appear to me to be ill-advised. In a year most CD-ROM
- readers as we know them will be used strictly for distribution and DVD will be
- on its way to becoming the standard we've all been waiting for.
